"Five" (Channel 5) in Deutschland

Der Britische Sender "Channel Five" ist  auch in Deutschland frei empfangbar. Das Programm sendet "Free To Air" und kann unverschlüsselt mit einer digitalen Anlage empfangen werden. Während im Nordwesten Deutschlands der  Empfang via Astra 2D bereits mit einer 60-cm-Schüssel möglich ist, wird für München ein Parabolspiegel von 90 Zentimetern empfohlen. In Berlin kann sogar 1,80 Meter erforderlich sein. Die Kennung des Senders lautete zunächst noch "6335" - zwischenzeitlich stand  "Five" - nun steht "Channel 5" im Display. 

Bei "Channel 5" ist als Teletext-Service nur der Zugriff auf die Untertitel (888) möglich.  Die Sendefrequenz ist 10773-h, SR 22000. Einzelheiten sind auf der Frequenzliste für Astra 28° Ost zu finden.

When you go for the 4-channel-feed technology you have to select four TV stations that would
suite your needs best.
If you know who's regularly coming to your place you can choose the channels to feed during installation. So you can concentrate on a fixed channel list that you can use when you are advertising your house. You could let your ad say: "We provide French, German, Spanish and Italian TV!" If you want to be more flexible you can pre-program the list of available satellite channels and then select for example 4 French channels to feed in when your today's visitors are from France. Change it completely when the Italians arrive the next day.
